Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our Prepared Foods team at Whole Foods Market. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for assisting the Team Leader in all aspects of daily operations, including profitability, expense control, buying, merchandising, labor, regulatory compliance, and special projects.Key Responsibilities

• Lead and Develop Team Members: Develop and maintain a high-performing team by providing coaching, guidance, and feedback to Team Members.
• Assist Team Leader: Assist the Team Leader in achieving sales, purchasing, and labor targets, as well as analyzing sales reports and labor.
• Develop Store Layout and Product Merchandising: Develop and maintain creative store layouts and product merchandising to drive sales and customer engagement.
• Manage Vendor Relationships: Maintain good vendor relationships, develop new vendor relations, and ensure all paperwork is properly submitted for vendor processing.
• Resolve Team Concerns: Work with the Team Leader to resolve team concerns or issues, and function as the point person and departmental person in charge in their absence.Requirements
  • Experience: 18+ months retail Team Member experience and 6+ months of supervisory experience.
  • Skills: High energy, enthusiastic, and displays an affinity for our products, core values, and company philosophy. Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills.
