Quantum Scientists will be part of an elite team driving research and development of the industry's most advanced quantum computing hardware and software.

  • Full-Time
  • *Higher starting salary possible depending on experience level
  • Master's degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Mathematics, or other related technical field.
  • At least a 3.0 GPA on a 4-point scale
  • U.S. citizens (dual U.S. citizens also eligible)
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Willing to move to the Washington, DC area
  • Able to complete security and medical evaluationsQuantum scientists in CIA's Directorate of Science and Technology collaborate as program managers executing programs.     • Ability to convey technical information to a diverse audience both through written reports and presentations.
    • Strong teamwork skills especially with working in interdisciplinary teams with professionals from other fields of physics and engineering and in a multi-tasking environment.
    • Ability to work independently on complex tasks.
    • Proven record of research and accomplishment.
    • Experience in developing and executing to project budgets.
    • Proficiency in computer skills and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
