Training Facilitator/Instructional Design Specialist
Location: Washington, DC Metro Area (or nearby)
Reports to: Program Manager
Summary:
C Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training Facilitator/Instructional Design Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering both virtual and in-person training sessions, providing logistical support, and developing instructional materials for a federal client. This role will involve frequent client interaction and travel for conferences and in-person training.
Responsibilities:
Training Delivery and Logistics:

• 
  
• Plan, schedule, and deliver four weekly training sessions, each between 1-2 hours.
  
• Conduct ad hoc, bi-annual, and annual training sessions as requested by the client.
  
• Facilitate in-person training at 999 N. Capitol St., Washington, DC (2 days per month).
  
• Travel to 2-3 conferences per year within the U.S.
  
• Conduct Needs Analysis meetings to determine training requirements.
  
• Schedule, organize, and communicate training sessions via WebEx, email, or the client's network.
  
• Capture, analyze, and present training survey data quarterly.
  
  Instructional Design:
  
  • 
    
  • Create and update training documents, presentations, and materials using Microsoft Office and Adobe products.
    
  • Ensure all training materials are 508 compliant.
    
  • Learn the JustGrants system by reviewing training materials and using the Stage database.
    
  • Collaborate with the PM and team members to ensure all training content is accurate and relevant.
    
    Additional Duties:
    
    • 
      
    • Provide support via a training support desk and respond to training-related inquiries via email.
      
    • Maintain and organize training resources and materials in shared directories.
      
    • Complete additional tasks as requested by the client.
      
      Requirements:
      
      • 
        
      • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe products.
        
      • Ability to schedule and manage virtual training sessions using WebEx and Microsoft Teams.
        
      • Experience capturing, analyzing, and presenting survey data.
        
      • Strong organizational and logistical support skills for complex meetings.
        
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
        
      • Ability to travel to training locations and conferences as needed.
        
        Preferred Qualifications:
        
        • 
          
        • Familiarity with JustGrants or similar federal systems.
          
        • Experience ensuring 508 compliance for training materials.
          
          Education and Experience:
          
          • 
            
          • Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, or related field.
            
          • 1-2 years of experience in training facilitation and instructional design.
