Position Overview:

The Director of Innovation and Technology will spearhead our efforts to leverage Generative AI and other advanced technologies to revolutionize medical communications and education. This role requires a dynamic leader with expertise in medical communications and emerging technologies (GAI, digital tools and frameworks, etc) who can work across disparate teams to integrate innovative ideas into our strategic framework and market solutions. Our ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, proactive, and resourceful, with excellent problem-solving skills and a clear sense of urgency and mission.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Vision & Leadership: Develop and execute a forward-thinking strategy for integrating Generative AI into our operations, enhancing both internal processes and client deliverables.Innovation Development: Lead the ideation, design, and implementation of novel medical education products and solutions that address current market needs and anticipate future trends.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with account content teams, legal, IT, and other departments to align technological innovations with business objectives and regulations.Client

Engagement: Serve as a subject matter expert in medical communications for internal teams and pharma clients, providing insights and guidance for leveraging technology for enhanced outcomes.

Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing team of technologists and innovators, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence.

Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends in Gen AI and other technologies, ensuring our solutions remain at the forefront of the industry.

Marketing Communications and PR: Coordinate with corporate marketing and communication teams to drive market awareness and thought leadership in technology, particularly Gen AI, for medical communications-related initiatives and customer successes.

Qualifications:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field. Advanced degrees in relevant fields of Computer Science or Life Sciences, a plus .

Strong understanding of medical communications (strongly preferred) or closely adjacent functional areas (e.g., Market Access, HEOR, Commercial Consulting) in the pharmaceutical industry; minimum 5 years of industry experience.

Proven experience in leadership roles, successfully steering programs and initiatives to completion with meaningful business impact.

Proven expertise and program management experience in Generative AI applications and innovative technology development.

Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.

Marketing, PR, Social Media communication & messaging experience, a plus . Experience in thought leadership and public speaking is also desirable.

Precision is required by law in some states or cities to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Precision, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, health insurance, retirement savings benefits, life insurance and disability benefits, parental leave, and paid time off for sick leave and vacation, among other benefits.

$170,000 - $215,000 USD
