      • Provide safe and effective preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative anesthesia care for patients undergoing various surgical procedures.

          • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
          • Residency training program in anesthesiology accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or the AOA.License & Certifications:
            • Board certification in anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).
            • Active and unrestricted medical license in Virginia.Experience:
              • While specific requirements may vary, most locum anesthesiologist positions prefer candidates with at least one year of experience providing anesthesia care in a clinical setting. Additional Notes:
