Job Title: Nurse Practitioner (Medication-Assisted Treatment/Opioid Use Disorder)Location: Fairfax, VAPay Rate: $50/hr-85/hrJob Description:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Fairfax, VA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) or Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD). This role involves providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients struggling with opioid dependency, utilizing evidence-based practices to support recovery.Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with opioid use disorder.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that include medication-assisted treatment.
• Prescribe and manage medications for opioid use disorder in accordance with established protocols.
• Monitor patient progress, including medication adherence and response to treatment.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families about opioid use disorder and treatment options.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure the best outcomes for patients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Stay current with the latest research and developments in the field of opioid use disorder treatment.Requirements:
  • Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) license.
  • DEA certification.
  • Virginia license or willingness to obtain licensure in Virginia.
  • Proven experience with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) or Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD).
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
