MORI Associates is seeking a Project Manager to provide remote
project management for the Chief Data Office in support of the NASA
Enterprise Multimedia and Integrated Technical Services (eMITS)
contract. eMITS is the Agency's enterprise-level contract creating
and delivering multimedia and technical communications through the
use of the internet, digital platforms, and IT management for
NASA's Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) and Office of
Communications (OCOMM). From photographing rocket launches and
recoveries, to producing engaging videos, to information technology
management, to using social media to share NASA's message, eMITS
integrates services for NASA IT and provides NASA's communication

inspire the world through information and discovery.JOB DESCRIPTION
/ FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:This position will include but not be
limited to the following activities:
- Assist with performing database analytics for the Chief Data
Officer (CDO).
- Determine best practices for leveraging Artificial Intelligence
(AI) Governance to ensure tools and systems remain safe and
ethical.
- Document policy and process for Data Management and Data
Sharing.
- Assist in the implementation of a NASA data catalog.
- Grow the community of practice for data stewardship by
facilitating working groups and tiger teams.
- Develop data and AI implementation plans to support agency
strategy.
- Ensure plans and projects meet cost, schedule, and
requirements.
- Perform data calls to support management of the AI
registry.
- Assist with developing data search tools that will enhance data
search and discovery across NASA.
- Assist in developing a continuous improvement process to evolve
the CDO.
- Document risks and help to provide mitigation strategies,
identify dependencies, and contingencies.
- Provide meeting and content coordination, meeting minutes, and
open action tracking.
- Ensure access to buildings, necessary rooms, and equipment for
onsite meetings.*Due to sensitive government information will work
with, US citizenship is required*Remote, hybrid, and onsite
positions the employee bears travel costs to nearest NASA Center
for badging and issue of NASA IT equipment.EDUCATION AND PREVIOUS
WORK REQUIREMENTS:Minimum education - BA/BS Data Science,
Information Management, Business Administration, or a related
field.Minimum experience - 12
years.EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:Minimum Requirements:
- 10+ years of data management-related experience
- 6+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or
a related field, preferably within a federal or large
organizational setting.
- Provide expert strategic vision and management services
informed by industry best practices to guide efficient and
effective data management and AI adoption.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of AI and data governance and risk frameworks.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
simultaneously.Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneNote, One Drive), SharePoint, and
Box.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficient in M365
- Microsoft SharePoint
- Microsoft Purview
- Collibra, Informatica, etc.
- Strategy Management
- Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)
- ITIL Certification (desired, not required)
- Microsoft Project (desired, not required)Salary range:
