  • Provide technical and management leadership on major technology assignments.
  • Establish goals and plans to meet assessment objectives.
  • Possess expert technical knowledge of various technologies used by Law Enforcement domains.
  • Define performance objectives and performance levels.
  • Understand and describe anomalies/flaws in decision-making of application development or acquisition.
  • Validate requirements and deliverables of products and services that projects/programs produce.
  • Resolve issues regarding program deliverables of various law enforcement technologies.AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $145,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.       • 12+ years of experience in IT or Engineering field.
      • Bachelor's degree in STEM field.
      • DHS suitability clearance.
      • Experience with Department of Homeland Security.
      • Experience in systems engineering, acquisition, test and evaluation, sustainment.
      • Understanding of Systems acquisition lifecycle (e.g., ALF and MD-102).
      • Familiarity with IEEE standard 1012, IEEE Standard 829-1998, and the DHS SELC.
      • Excellent writing, communications, and briefing skills.
