seeking a dedicated and self-motivated individual to join our team
as a Billing Coordinator. This position is crucial for day-to-day
operations and candidates will be primarily focused on Private Pay
and Medicaid billing. The ideal candidate will have a continuous
improvement mindset, strong attention to detail, and the ability to
develop efficiencies. This position requires you to be on-site,
giving you the opportunity to work closely with our staff,

Coordinator:
- Communicates professionally with staff, residents, families,
and other stakeholders
- Demonstrates critical problem-solving and appropriate
independent decision-making abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy is a must.
- Knowledge of accounts receivable is a plus - but we're willing
to train the right candidate.
- Able to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one
task to another of a different nature in order to meet deadlines
proficiently.
- Maintains a positive attitude and actively promotes good
communication using the English language.
- Demonstrates a strong teamwork attitude in order to maintain
relationships that facilitate task accomplishment, to cooperate and
resolve conflicts, and to recognize needs and be sensitive to
others.
- Supports the mission, philosophy, policies, changes and values
of Fairmount.
- Office 365 experience a plus.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of Billing Coordinator:
- Complete daily and monthly reporting which includes census,
board report requests, Medicaid, and Long-Term Care.
- Setup and configure Point Click Care to ensure accurate
invoicing and reporting
- Maintain resident account information such as census and rates,
contacts, and insurance information
- Prepare, post, verify and record customer and insurance
payments to resident accounts, including EFT batches
- Prepare invoices, statements and collection letters Private Pay
accounts
- Import and enter ancillary charges into Point Click Care
- Manage and complete Medicaid applications and renewals
- Manage and create Custom Pay agreements
- Update and maintain tracking logs used by the Billing
Department
- Completes monthly A/R closings including Balancing accounts,
reviewing aging reports, and verifying balances
- Assist with preparation of Audit Documentation
- Prepare Cash Deposits as requested by Billing Manager or
CFO
- Assist in insurance billing once cross-trained
- Performs other duties as required by facility needs
